Mansfield Reformatory - Mansfield, Ohio. Extremely popular mostly due to the fact that is was the filming location for Stephen King's Shawshank Redemption. Their website list dates of ghost hunts that you can buy tickets for. Currently, all of 2011 is SOLD OUT! Which of course means that planning a trip for CAPA is possible toward the end of the year. Keep an eye out for updates on a possible group investigation. However, seeing as how the reformatory usually takes in a group of 100 people, it is likely that some of the data discovered on these public hunts (such as EVP's and photos) may not be accurate readings. They do however offer private hunts which cost a whopping $2250 for 30 people or less and again they SOLD OUT for 2011.Miamitown Bridge - Cleves.

Waverly Hills Sanatorium - Louisville. TB hospital which originally started as a one room school house. The full history is located on their site. At least this one only books 40 people on their hunts. They also offer 4 hour investigations to book or 8 hour investigations. More than likely, one could cover the whole premises in about 4 hours. The charges for Waverly are listed on their site. As of today, 5-6-2011, they are not completely sold out but have stated that the investigations are booking up rather quickly. This is one that we plan on trying to complete this year. More information to follow.Big Bone Lick State Park - Union. Big Bone is known primarily for its historical value. It is an archeological adventure to step foot onto park grounds. Their cost for ghost hunts are $25 per person or $40 per couple. So, if you're going as a group, clearly you should be able to negotiate a descent deal. Bobby Mackey's Music World - Wilder. A great place for information n Bobby Mackey's is at the library or at Prairre Ghosts. There are so many stories and legend surrounding this nightclub that it would be near impossible for us to list it all on this blog. I strongly advise that if you desire to learn more about the club, that you check out their site or do some historical research. They do conduct some private tours where you are allowed to take photos and ask questions. The current cost for that is $25 per person. We are in the process of contacting the club to schedule an investigation.
